NECA Recognizes Projects for Port of Oakland and CityLift Parking

San Leandro, Calif.: SilMan is proud to be awarded two Project Excellence awards at the 2019 NECA NorCal fall banquet.

This annual program was created to acknowledge excellence in management and execution of electrical and installation projects by member contractors.  SilMan Team member Scott Harding (aka “Safety Scott”) is a board member at NECA NorCal, and accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The National Electrical Contractors of America (“NECA”) is a national industry-leading nonprofit that is manifest through 119 local and regional chapters. Their mission aims to protect the public by providing industry standards, and encouraging innovation.

According to the NorCal chapter’s website, the criteria for determining the winners for Project Excellence awards are originality, aesthetics, workmanship, and difficulty of installation.

Two SilMan projects were submitted and selected for the 2019 award cycle:

  • Port of Oakland: Terminal One Charging Stations for Ground Vehicles
  • Citylift Parking for Installation
