Hobart Plant Expansion Grand Opening

SilMan Industries is proud to have been invited to the grand opening of Daifuku Intralogistics America’s expanded facility in Hobart, Indiana, on October 2, 2025. This milestone, in the company’s own words, “represents a significant chapter in our ongoing commitment to innovation, growth, and service within the supply chain industry.”
Guests were treated to a guided tour of the state-of-the-art facility, product demonstrations, and remarks from company leadership and local officials. Special guest Daifuku Japan President & CEO Hiroshi Geshiro was the keynote speaker. Presenters also included Intralogistics America (ILUS) President Christoph Schenk, Hobart Mayor Josh Huddlestun, and United States Congressman Frank J. Mrvan. Mr. Geshiro performed the official ribbon-cutting.
Team members Garrett King and Jeff Fairchild represented SilMan at the event. Mr. King remarked, “It is incredible to see this level of support Daifuku extends to clients and partners. We are very grateful to be a part of this day and witness the Daifuku team’s energy for the expansion.”

Garrett and Jeff are pictured below with Mr. Schenk. And while on the facility tour, they also spotted a logo that looked very familiar – a SilMan order prepped for shipment, destined for a successful implementation for a market-leading client.
