SilMan Celebrates the Summer Season with National Picnic

San Leandro, Calif. and Tupelo, Miss.; SilMan Industries celebrated the summer season with their annual “Summer BBQ and Cornhole Tournament” on July 22. 2022.

The event is held at the company’s Tupelo and San Leandro offices.

Team members are encouraged to bring family members, and remote workers were invited to travel to their “home base”.

Truly, one party, coast-to-coast!

SilMan hosts multiple national celebrations each year, sometimes connecting via Go-to-Meeting with live cameras and audio between the two events.

The Cornhole Tournament is not taken lightly, and should not be viewed as a sideline to the event by those unfamiliar with this tradition. In fact, competition is fierce and old rivalries are always sure to surface. The winning team members are honored with their names engraved by a trophy which is on display at each office.

The BBQ is purely offered as a fun community event. Even so, it reflects deep currents in the SilMan brand.
