We recently sat down with Terry Gower, ace pro of the automotive and baggage handling industries.  This multi-episode conversation reveals one of  our most revered and endeared team members.  Everyone loves Terry!

Just in time for Veterans Day

In this first installment of this series, we learn about Gower’s military service, and how these early experiences shaped his professional success.

About Terry Gower

Terry hails from Tennessee.  No matter how many temporary apartments he lived in over the decades on the road, he returned to his home state every weekend that he could. He is a graduate of the Nashville Auto-Diesel College and the General Motors Technical Institute.  Following his military service in the late 1960s (Vietnam), Gower joined Jervis B Webb Co. where he served for 30 years as a Field Services Manager.

Accomplishments

Terry has managed installation projects totaling in the 100s of millions of dollars, primarily in the automotive and baggage handling industries.  Auto plant line installations include General Motors (Arlington, Texas; Fairfax, Kansas; Moraine, Ohio), and Volvo (Dublin, VA).  His history in the baggage industry is legendary, working in Cincinnati (Delta), Detroit (Northwest) and the entire updated system from the ground up at McCarran in Las Vegas.
